Isolation

This book explores isolation both as a visual theme and as a design method. Moving away from traditional design software, I developed a custom tool to generate and transform images. Using 100 photographs sourced from Unsplash through the keyword “isolation,” the tool reconstructs each image into a line-based grid and introduces a force field around the isolated subject, distorting its surroundings while keeping the subject intact. The result is a series of experimental images in which isolation is not only represented, but embedded in the structure of the image itself.
